Are you interested in helping people resolve their lawsuit or other conflict? Dispute Resolution Services of North Texas Inc. provides an excellent opportunity to assist your community by becoming a volunteer mediator. As a volunteer mediator, you will act as a facilitator to encourage discussion and negotiation between the parties, and guide parties toward a resolution to their dispute. Once you have obtained the required training, our Case Specialists will work with your availability and schedule to assign you to mediate cases that match your professional background and experience.

Individuals must have completed basic mediation training to volunteer. DRS North Texas offers the required training for a minimal cost.  Courses provided fulfill the requirements of Section 154 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code.  Click here for upcoming training dates.
